Pawel Dydio
Pawel Dydio (1985) obtained his Ph.D. (cum laude) in 2013 from the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) with Joost Reek. In 2014-2016, he conducted postdoctoral research at U.C. Berkeley, with John Hartwig, as a LBNL postdoctoral fellow and an NWO Rubicon postdoctoral scholar. In mid-2016, he moved back to Europe to be appointed an assistant professor and to direct a new laboratory at ISIS, the University of Strasbourg (France). His research interests lie in the fields of homogeneous catalysis, bio-catalysis, supramolecular and organometallic chemistry, and complex systems. He was awarded the IDEX Starting Grant 2016, the ERC Starting Grant 2018, the Dream Chemistry Award Top 5 in 2020, and the Guy Ourisson Prize in 2021
